Location: The Bight, Norman Island
We had to wake up early (6-6:30) for a breakfast of pancakes. We had a boat meeting and then played the "mingle game" with everyone in the fleet. Finally we sailed off, even though at first we were just using the motor. Once we got to the wind the crew raised the main sail and later the jib. We tacked back and forth through the channel until we reached our destination, the caves at Norman Island. We had a chance to snorkel around it caves where Blackbeard's treasure could have been hidden. Once we finished snorkeled we headed to another cove where we anchored for the night. We then had to put away our stuff before we could shower. The salt water showers were amazing! It was a lot of fun and very refreshing. We then prepared for our sloppy joe dinner. After dinner, we all did our job to clean up. We then met with the Quest kids and had a Lifeworks introduction. Now we are in the process of making brownies and discussing sleeping arrangements.
